5 easy steps to getting a Mental Health Care Plan:
Step 1: Visit a doctor to discuss how you are feeling and describe what is troubling you.
Step 2: If the doctor thinks it will be helpful and appropriate a Mental Health Care Plan can be created.
Step 3: Phone Lily Studios and start counselling with your chosen psychologist.
Step 4: Regularly visit your doctor to share how you are tracking.
Step 5: Start feeling better, be happier.
As you may be aware, mental health problems are common in today’s society. Approximately one in five Australians will have some mental health issues at some point.
If you are feeling unhappy, stressed or are currently experiencing a situation which is really difficult, you may very well benefit from some counselling.
The first step is to see a doctor (or a psychiatrist or pediatrician). Book a long consultation so you have plenty of time to discuss your concerns. If the doctor thinks it is a good idea he/she may suggest that you have a Mental Health Care Plan. Once a Mental Health Care Plan has been created you will be able to receive a rebate for counselling at Lily Studios (or another mental health service).
